Endodontic Therapy:
When a tooth is decayed, when caught early, the decayed part of the tooth can be cleaned and the tooth filled. However if left un- treated, they decay progresses to reach the nerve within the tooth to cause sever pain and may lead to infection.
Endodontic therapy traditionally known as ROOT CANAL TREATMENT is the treatment done when this decay has progressed to the nerve within the tooth. In this, we clean the decay from the tooth, remove the nerve from within the tooth, clean, disinfect the canals within the tooth where this nerve lies and under sterile protocol, fill this space with a special inert material.
